In a statement Bharti Airtel (Kolkata & WB) COO Vir Inder Nath said, “Out of total customer base of around 19 million customer base in the states of West Bengal and Odisha, one-third would be female. We expect subscription for this service from about 10 per cent from female customer.”
After subscribe to this service the user can send an alert thrice in 30 minutes during an emergency with their geographic location to their closest 10 loved ones simultaneously with just a call. You have to pay a subscription fee of RS 30 per month to activate this service.

- Dial 55100 and follow menu options.
- Add your 10 close relatives/friends by adding their number by messaging START.
- SMS SAFE to 55100 to reassure 1contacts that you are safe · Send an emergency alert
- Durinfg emergency give a call to 55100 and your family will receive voice and SMS alerts with your location details
- SMS HELP to 55100 and it will send alert to all your 10 saved contacts
